Nina Paley’s Sita Sings the Blues, an incredible feature-length animated adaptation of the Ramayana you can watch online straight away or download in high-quality HD if you have a fast connection.
The film also has a great 1920s jazz soundtrack that brought Nina Paley a world of pain in copyright clearance issues, but at least in this case all’s well when it ends well. Great work Nina!
