Since Barack Obama is the new president of the United States.
I honestly hope Change is coming. The last eight years provided not just a bad US president, but worst of all a very nasty memepool poisoning and a very bad example to the rest of the world — in Europe, people were already talking about really bad ideas, such as private social security and the end of universal healthcare (because if they do it in the US they are probably right, right?). And the consequences of those policies are now here, in the form of a monstruous Great Depression II (lets at least hope the historic lessons of Hoover’s mistakes and F.D.R.’s decisions allow the Obama administration to tackle the problems quicker than they were dealt with in the 1930s).
Anyway, today it feels good to write: ‘President Obama’.
