I wholeheartedly agree with Guardian columnist Charlie Brooker on the main virtue of Windows: no zealots. I dislike Macs by the same reason why I’ll defend my crappy ‘95 Punto against every verbal assault. It works for me, so shut up already. (via The Null Device)

honestly, i think i missed the point. he likes windows because... nobody seems to like it enough to tell their friends about it? :/
i'm all for things that do the job (i drive an old car myself), but i believe mac is one of those things that, once you try it, you know how stuff is supposed to work. stuff just falls into place, and that makes people happy, i think.
ps - and what about balmer? if he isn't the creepiest of evangelists, i don't know what is.

This xkcd is again right on the money. The file copy dialogs are high on the list of things I find irrational in Windows - and again, I think Vista only made it worse.
