Action Painting #8 (after Michael Bay). It may be really a lot of wishful thinking on my part, but I want to believe there’s more to Michael Bay than just literally blowing up millions of dollars in a big loud BOOM! CDM describes how Jeremy Rotsztain made some generative ‘action paintings’ informed by Bay’s mindless action sequences.

Michael Bay used a squillion dollars and a hundred supercomputers’ worth of CG for a brilliant art movie about the illusory nature of plot.

Michael Bay Finally Made An Art Movie - This review of Transformers 2 is one of the funniest I ever read. I haven’t seen it yet and I’m pretty sure it’s a horrid movie but still this review made me want to watch it: It’s like a road accident ahead, you can’t avoid wanting to look. But perhaps I’ll wait for the DVD, so I can organize some drinking games.

Marco Campos :
It's bad. Really bad. And looooooong. But the main issue is the plot. It's the classic : baddies are coming, there is this ancient artifact that can kill them. No surprises, always very predictable. Save your €€€. For the price of the ticket you can almost buy a book. Fscking thieves!
